Pregnancy and Childbirth

I am currently 21 weeks pregnant with my first child, and I am gathering information, spells and rituals etc. that will come in handy for the impending birth. Only a handful of my witchcraft books contain snippets of information about pregnancy and childbirth, but mainly I am interested in the personal experiences of other witches.

For instance, I have heard of people drinking raspberry leaf tea (or taking it in tablet form, because yuck!) in the weeks prior to the birth... has anyone here tried this? I have been doing a lot of visualisation about the birth going smoothly, I am also thinking of making up a mojo bag to take with me containing moonstone and a few herbs... are there any other stones or any herbs you would suggest? Do you know of any prayers, chants or affirmations to help during childbirth?

Any and all personal experiences you would like to share would be welcome. Thanks in advance for your replies, and many blessings. xoxo

Brewing Chants

I brew beer, mead and wine. And I am having a hell of a time finding inspiration for chants to say while brewing to ensorcell the brews.

I can tell I need something verbal to help me focus my intention. However, I am not a poet and I would love to find something at least semi-traditional or at the very least not wiccan and focused on brewing beer, mead and or wine. Even some adaptable poetry would do it.

This is one of those instances where my googlefu is failing me. All my search terms are just returning cakes and ale rituals from Wiccan circles.

I am very confident about the need for me to chant something whilst brewing. And also very sure that I am not the one to write it (not a poet! and I need some poetry).

HALP!?

Bony Lady is a bit of a Bitch?

For the past six weeks or so I've been drawn to create a Santa Muerte altar. Although I have a Rubbermaid box full of altar gear, it's more Catholic (Our Lady and the holy family), Neolithic, Native (some pieces that are Florida specific), and a hodge podge of "shit I like."

It's taken me some time to gather new altar pieces for the White Sister, so I've got ALL my stuff up on a high shelf until I can find time (I have an almost two year old) to do my altar work.

About a week ago, a frame containing my grandfather's WW2 medals flew off the wall. This happened in the middle of the night and sounded like it was flung, really hit the ground hard. My husband chalked it up to vibrations of the Air Conditioner. Really? *roll eyes*

Yesterday I got a Santa Muerte statue in the mail I had ordered. I had been waiting on this piece to set up the altar to her. Last night we'd been in bed about an hour when a red vase and a mirrored niche/shelf from the nook where I'd been keeping all this stuff crashed to the floor. My husband and I were pretty creeped out. There's a dent in the pergo floor where the stuff hit. Again, sounding like it was thrown hard.

Is this a wake up call? My husband wants me to throw everything out (his ex gf before me was heavy into voodoo and it makes him uncomfortable).

I feel like I might be in a little over my head. What do you all think?
I'd like to start an action and answer all kinds of questions in the love sphere, using Tarot Of The Dream Enchantress. It's a deep and hopeful deck, and is really interesting with such kind of questions.
From you I need your name and birth date, and same for the person you are asking about. Photos are real help, too.
And, of course, a question, with a brief (or not so brief - up to you) description of the situation.
I'll do the first one for free, but then I need to take some payment (webmoney), but the sum is completely up to you, you can send it after my answer (I need it to regenerate my strength, it's kind of a ruitual thing).
Comment here, and then sent me your question via e-mail right away: shigella@list.ru
Good luck and blessed be.
